sexism

The Mormon church does not allow women to hold the priesthood and thus have a very limited role in leading and serving in the church. The church boasts that the Relief Society is the largest female organization in the world, yet omit the fact that it is only run with the oversight and authority of male priesthood holders. Only recently has the church allowed women to speak in conferences and act as witnesses to events such as baptisms.
