Hi, we're the Abnormal System.

We're a queer DID system with autism and generalized anxiety disorder. We were a mormon.

    About me

We were born and raised mormon. Did everything right- memorizing the 13 commandments, getting baptized, etc. We did little talks here and there at the testimony sharing. We thought what we were doing was right. My (the host's) dad has held many higher titles in the priesthood- no higher than stake, though. He has work to do and although he's less stressed now, I still question why he's still doing this. (Note: I, the host of the system, will be speaking primarily). In Young Women's we wanted to get a position but never got one. Probably for the greater good. We wanted to prove our worth. At the young age of 9, we moved to Germany, and came back to the states in seventh grade. It was hell for me. New public school (later went to a private international one), new stake, and a new language. I don't know how I clung to the mormon faith for so long.

    # Why I left More stories of 'Why I left' the Mormon church

Around the time I figured out I was queer, I felt this sudden guilt whenever I walked into the chapel. This was reinforced by realizing I don't want kids. I don't want to follow the covenant path. This was a huge shock for me. I almost cried in that chapel many times, having to step out. Eventually, against the policy (don't look at outside sources), I searched for the truth. The REAL truth. And I found it. And I left. The young women still try to reach out to me. It was often at first, but nowadays it's rare. I still want them to stop.

I don't know. They can't pick a lane. At one point they're christian and the other they're the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints. A whole latter-day mouthful if you ask me.

No. I left because I'm hurt. And for my mental health.

    100% yes

#Link to this answer of 'Is Mormon doctrine racist?' by kingofweird Is Mormon doctrine racist? See more answers about 'Is Mormon doctrine racist?'

Yes. Go ahead, try to say the "skin turning black" thing was a metaphor. It still means dark = bad

#Link to this answer of 'What do you feel or know about Joseph Smith's Polygamy?' by kingofweird What do you feel or know about Joseph Smith's Polygamy? See more answers about 'What do you feel or know about Joseph Smith's Polygamy?'

As a polyamorous person, I'm disgusted. Relationships should be consensual. Polygamy is just a man taking advantage of several women. If your partner goes against your wishes and has a relationship with someone you didn't consent to, that's cheating.
