What do you feel or know about polygamy?

Polygamy is evil. God never once commanded it in the Old Testament (I was told this was true growing up, which was a lie) and Jesus set out the code for marriage in the Gospels, that being between 1 man and 1 woman, indissoluble. Joseph Smith cannot override Jesus Christ in my book, and no LDS apologist has ever been able to defend polygamy because it is frankly disgusting and an affront to human nature and to Christianity itself and God's design for marriage.
