    About me

I was not born in the church. I got baptized June 15th this year. I believe in the values of the Mormon church an the book of Mormon. But somethings I don't.

    # Why I left More stories of 'Why I left' the Mormon church

I haven't left yet. But I'm seriously considering it. I love the religion. It's the only thing that has ever called to my heart. BUT there are a couple things I just can't mesh with, like how every one chosen to serve in a higher position in the church was already wealthy. Like why not choose an average person? It makes a disconnect between people. Then the whole issues of how they believe acting on your same sex attraction is a sin but I just dont believe that. I'm not gay but my daughter is bi. Other than those two things (mainly) I love the church.but Ide rather study at home. But they make you feel guilty for wanting to leave. And I love the community feeling an my youngest loves it. So it's hard to get a foot out the door.
