Hi! I’ve been a member for 15 years. I married a man who was born and raised in the church…. I should have never married him, but that’s a whole other story….I never agreed with everything about the church, but I was treated with such love and support, especially after the divorce….BUT, I started questioning some policies on the LGBTQ community and I’m getting the runaround and I feel like they are trying to get me to go against MY BELIEFS, which I’m a firm supporter of LGBTQ rights (my sister and her partner have been together 34 years and one of my closest friends is trans)…. I just feel like if I stay in the church I am betraying the people who are most important to me.
