Hi Wecome, I am Ryan Barkdull!

I was LDS for 44 years, the last 7 being inactive. I found it easier to lose all faith, then to go to the LDS church. No church should tell you how or how not to live. The pressures for so many years, made me feel not good enough. Like Christ said to the fishermen "Come follow me". It is really that simple. Works dont do anything for you, but by your faith the works will follow.

    About me

I was LDS and served mission and did everything I could to try and be the best person I could be. But no matter how hard I tried, I never felt good enough. The pressures that the church uses to scare and control you, were just to much.

    # Why I left More stories of 'Why I left' the Mormon church

I took years of blaming so many things. But found it easier to not have faith at all, then to go to the LDS church. Was not till I found a non denominational church that I realized that the LDS church controls its members, and hides so much of the history of the church.
