Hi, my name is David.
I was a Mormon. Now, I'm free of those shackles.

About me
I was born into an inactive family, I asked to be taken to Primary. I was dropped off at Church services until I could drive. I tried to attend early morning seminary, but mom didn't drive at that time, so only really attend for one year.
I was a Life Boy Scout as well as a member of the Order of the Arrow and very active as an Explorer. I'm from Southern California, served a mission to the Indiana-Indianapolis Mission (1974-1976) and then attended BYU. Got married in the LA Temple (1978). Moved to Phoenix, had 4 kids, marriage broke down, needed a break from the church so left the wife and church at the same time. I knew inside that my world view was terribly distorted... it took me awhile to figure out the how and why. The final straw for me was the September 6th event.
On my mission I learned that "by their fruits shall you know them" I could clearly see that the fruits of Mormonism are rotten and spoiled...and its very sad...
