Mary Ann Hobart was a sister wife and celestial sister wife. At least one marriage overlapped in time with another living wife of the same husband — plural marriage during her lifetime. In Mormon eternal-marriage doctrine, she is sealed to a husband who has (or had) other wives in the sealing record; those relationships are honored in the afterlife even when wives did not overlap on earth.
