Hello, I'm Paul Snow Carpenter!

I am 84 years old and a descendent of Mormon pioneers having been born under the Mormon covenant. My parents were devout LDS and while I was never a true believer, I went with the flow expected of young Mormon men for many years which included a mission, two degrees from BYU and a temple marriage. I met Gertrud, my wife of 57 years, while in the Army in Germany when she was a new LDS convert. I'm in the process of completing  my autobiography and will provide exerpts here later regarding our life together, our gradual departure from the LDS church and our new spiritual home as Unitarian-Universalists.  To be continue.......
