About me
I came to the LDS Church ward in my city after discovering the similarities between Mormonism and Freemasonry.
I've been researching for a year, and it's fascinating how most members are unfamiliar with its history and many doctrinal issues.
I sometimes go to Sacrament Meeting on Sundays. I like to sing the hymns, and the atmosphere is very fraternal.
For me, the issue isn't whether the Book of Mormon, and therefore the LDS Church, is true or not.
I take in the good things the members offer me and don't get into too many arguments unless they ask me about my beliefs.
The missionaries know I don't have faith and don't want to be baptized.
I greatly respect their youth and their work, and they no longer try to proselytize me.
On some occasions, I ask about controversial issues.
I try to get them to find their own answers by consulting official sources.
