Sonia Johnson

Sonia Johnson is an American feminist activist and author who was excommunicated from the LDS Church in 1979 for her vocal support of the Equal Rights Amendment. Her excommunication became a national news story. She later ran for President of the United States on the Citizens Party ticket in 1984.
