Ronald A. Rasband

Ronald A. Rasband is an apostle who has served since 2015. A Utah native, Rasband had a career in business, including working for Huntsman Chemical Corporation and in sales management.

Before his apostolic call, Rasband served as a general authority seventy, including as Senior President of the Seventy. This administrative experience prepared him for apostolic responsibilities.

Rasband is known for his emphasis on spiritual experiences and promptings. His talks frequently include stories of how following spiritual impressions led to significant outcomes. He encourages members to share their testimonies and record spiritual experiences.

He has served internationally in various leadership capacities and has addressed topics including service, faith, and following prophetic counsel.

His calling in 2015, along with fellow new apostles Stevenson and Renlund, represented a significant generational transition in the Quorum of the Twelve.
